Rotary Club of Paraiso: United in Service After Habagat 2026 In the wake of the devastating Habagat 2026, the Rotary Club of Paraiso mobilized its members, volunteers, partners, and supporters to bring relief, hope, and compassion to families affected by severe flooding in Rodriguez (Montalban), Rizal.
With unwavering dedication, Rotarians came together to prepare and distribute relief packs containing essential food items and supplies. Each pack represented more than immediate assistance—it became a symbol of compassion, solidarity, and hope for families facing difficult days after the disaster.
The relief operation demonstrated the power of collective action. By joining hands with volunteers and generous partners, the club was able to respond to an urgent community need and remind affected families that they were not alone in their struggle.
Beyond the distribution of relief goods, the initiative reflected Rotary’s enduring commitment to humanitarian service. In times of crisis, Rotary clubs are called to be present—not only with resources, but also with empathy, courage, and a willingness to act.
The Rotary Club of Paraiso remains steadfast in its commitment to Service Above Self, extending its hands and hearts wherever help is needed. The experience once again affirmed that meaningful change becomes possible when people unite behind a common purpose.
As communities continue to recover from the impact of Habagat 2026, the club stands ready to support restoration and recovery, working alongside partners and fellow Rotarians to build stronger and more resilient communities. Through compassionate service and collective action, the Rotary Club of Paraiso continues to demonstrate that even in the aftermath of disaster, hope can rise—and together, we can create lasting impact.
United in service. United for change. United for peace.
